Name: Dave Strider
Series: Homestuck
Point in canon: Post Scratch
Abilities: Flashstepping; he can get to one point to another (within several feet) in a flash. He learned this trick from his Bro but he hasn't perfected it yet. Time; with the help of his Knight of Time powers and his turntables, Dave can bend time. He can travel into the future to an extent, go into the past, and stop time.
History: Dave was born through ectobiology and was raised by his genetic father, Bro who found him and the dead pony, Maplehoof, in a meteor crash. From there Dave met John, Rose, and Jade through the internet and interacted with them via pesterchum and the mail system. When John turns 13 the 4 kids start the game Sburb which turns their lives upside down.
After dying several times, only Dave's dreamself existed. He and Rose's dreamself go to the Green Sun and emerge after achieving god tier. From there they meet the existing trolls and wait 3 years to meet John and Jade again.
Personality: Dave is the epitome of cool and irony, complete with Strider Shades. The only guy that can one-up him is his mentor and brother, Bro. Under Bro, he learned the fine arts of sword-fighting, DJing, flash stepping, and well, everything that makes him Dave. Dave is very sarcastic and smart with his words, he is able to counter-troll the trolls and he doesn't like having the lower hand in a battle. He likes having the advantage and he will interact with people for his benefit sometimes but usually it leads to friendship anyways as seen with the trolls. Underneath the layers of irony, Dave has a heart of gold. He’s extremely loyal to his friends and would waste time talking to them rather than doing something else. He remembers John, Jade, and Rose little personality quirks and he takes pride in giving them the greatest presents that he can.
